All information below is subject to change at the discretion of the Board of Directors and the Golf Professional.  Due to the County and State’s constraints on the Club and the fluctuating guidelines and rules related to the Coronavirus, please be sure to check with the Pro Shop for your Club’s latest golf policies.

Hours of Operation

Monday: Course open for outside tournaments only. Exception: open to members on Holidays.  Please contact the golf shop if you have any questions.
Tuesday:  Course opens at 7:00 a.m.
Wednesday: Course opens at 7:00 a.m.
Thursday: Course opens at 7:00 a.m.
Friday: Course opens at 7:00 a.m.
Saturday: Course opens at 7:00 a.m.
Sunday: Course opens at 7:00 a.m.

Starting Times:  Starting times are required daily.

Golf Lessons:  Lessons are available with the golf professionals Tuesday through Sunday. For an appointment, call the golf shop at (951) 684-5035.

Adult Swing-line clinics: The clinic is available for members with golf privileges at 9:00 a.m. on Thursdays. The cost is $ 5.00.

Driving Range

The Driving Range is open to all members with golf privileges.  Club storage and lockers are open. Equity, Junior Executive, and Social members guests may accompany a member on the Range.  Use of the Driving range is included in the green fee of the day for guests. Guests will pay $15.00 per day to use the range if they and the member are not playing a round of golf.

Winter Hours:
Tuesday-Saturday- 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Sunday-  7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Summer Hours:
Tuesday-Saturday- 7:00 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. Sunday-  7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Social Member Range Privileges:  The range is available for Social members at $25.00 per person.  Social Members may sign up for driving range privileges in the golf shop.  Once set up, Social members may have unlimited use of the driving range; the only restriction being that on Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesdays they can’t use the range before 10:00 a.m.  Guests of Social members may accompany a Social member on the Range. Use of the Driving range is included in the green fee of the day; Guests of Social members will pay $15.00 per day to use the range if they and the Social member are not playing a round of golf.

Equity Members’ & Junior Executives’ Children (over 23) & Immediate Relatives Guest Fees-$35.00.   Immediate relatives may play 12 times per year.

Immediate relatives are defined as: Children over 23 years of age, Father, Mother, Son, Daughter, Stepchildren, Father-in-law, Mother-in-law, Son-in-law, Daughter-in-law, Brother, Sister, and Grandchildren.

Non-Resident Members

Tuesday – Thursday $50.00
Friday – Sunday $65.00
Holidays $65.00

Social Member Golf Privileges

Social Members can play six (6) rounds per year, paying the green fee of the day.  Social Members have range privileges (see below), for an additional $25.00 per person.  Guests of Social Members pay the green fee of the day for the course.  Social members may have 1-3 guests, and when playing with more than one (1) guest, Social members must start after 10 a.m.

Lockers

Any member may have a locker; Golf members (Equity and Junior) are required to maintain a locker and bag storage.

Hole-in-One Insurance

Fee is $5.00 per hole-in-one; golfer buys the members a drink (not to exceed $10.00) and keeps the rest of the “Hole-in-One Pot.”  All Equity and Junior members are automatically put into the hole-in-one unless you choose not to be (You need to notify the office if you prefer not to participate in the hole-in-one.)  Monies from the “Hole-in-One Pot” can be used as a credit for merchandise in the Golf Pro Shop.

Golf Dress Code (All members and Guests)

Members, their children, grandchildren and their guests, visitors or other persons will NOT be allowed on the Club premises unless they are dressed appropriately.  Denim or blue jeans, denim jackets, tank tops, band tee shirts, regular tee shirts, baggy pants, un-tucked shirts, baggy shorts, cargo shorts, shorts with the hem or cuff line below the knee, and hats with bills worn to the side are not permitted.  Shoes must be always worn in the Clubhouse.  Men must always wear collared shirts in the Clubhouse.  Please see the Victoria Club Dress Code for complete dress code guidelines.  Appropriate dress is required on the golf course, practice range and practice putting greensAnyone dressed inappropriately may be denied access to the golf facilities.  Members must notify their guests of the Dress Code.

Appropriate Golf attire and shoes are required of players and spectators and is defined as follows:

Proper golf shoes (no metal spikes) or other athletic-type shoes are required on the course, practice range and putting greens. No street shoes or bare feet allowed.
Denim attire is not permitted.
Hats or visors must be worn with the brim/bill forward.
Hats and golf shoes with spikes (not metal) are allowed on the golf level ONLY!
Golf shoes are not allowed on the dining level of the Clubhouse.
Hats on men are not allowed on the dining level of the Clubhouse.
Cargo shorts or cargo pants with outside protruding pockets are not permitted.

Men:

  • All shirts must have a collar. Collared shirts or “mock” collared shirts.
  • All shirts must be always tucked in.
  • Tailored golf slacks or shorts no shorter than 5” above mid knee.

Ladies:

  • Shirts must have either a collar/“mock” collar or sleeves or both and should be long enough to cover the belt line when at rest.
  • Skirts, skorts or shorts shall be no shorter than the length of one’s fingertips when standing.
  • Midriff, halter or tank tops are not permitted.
  • Fitness tights are not appropriate for the golf course; however, “performance golf leggings” worn with a shirt/sweater that is at least hip length is acceptable.

Tournaments

There is a tournament schedule posted in both locker rooms. There is a message board outside of the Cart Barn/cart staging area that has information for members on upcoming events and tournaments, or cancellations.  Members also receive “email blasts” with tournament news and members may go to www.victoriaclub.com for tournament and event schedules.  Shoes must be worn in tournaments.

Merchandise

The Golf Shop is owned by the club, all merchandise is marked up 20% above cost.  All members may take advantage of shopping in the Golf Shop.   Dining members must pay at the counter due the Club’s point of sale system set-up.

Emergency Phones

There are two emergency phones. They are located at the 5th /16th tee.

Bag Drop

 The bag drop is located at the edge of the parking lot near the golfers’ entrance on the east side of the Clubhouse.  Please use the phone at the bag drop for direct connection to the cart barn.

Golf Rules and Regulations

1. Registrations

All members and guests must register in the Golf Shop before starting play.  All golfers must start from the #1 Tee, unless permission to do otherwise has been obtained from the Golf Shop Staff.

2. Member Play

Monday: Course closed except for scheduled tournaments.
Tuesday – Sunday:  Course opens at 7:00 a.m.
Sunday:  7:00 a.m. Starting times are available beginning the Wednesday prior to Sunday.  When New Years, Memorial, Independence, Labor, Thanksgiving and Christmas days fall on days other than Sunday, Sunday play schedule applies.

3. Restrictions

Monday:  Course closed except for outside tournaments.
Tuesday:  Guests play with member only; Maximum of 1 guest prior to 10:00 a.m.
Member sponsored or private club member (with Golf Professional verification) Maximum of 3 guests.
Wednesday:  Guests play with member only; Maximum of 3 guests.
Thursday:  Guests play with member only; Maximum of 3 guests.
Member sponsored or private club member (with Golf Professional verification) Maximum of 3 guests.
Friday:  Guests play with member only; Maximum of 3 guests.
Saturday:  No more than five-some play before 12:00 p.m.  Six plays after 12:00 p.m. with permission of the Golf Professional.  Guests play with member only; Maximum of 1 guest prior to 10:00 a.m. and 3 guests thereafter.
Sunday:  Guests play with member only; Maximum of 3 guests.

Guests

Guests cannot be invited more than six (6) times in any calendar year to use the golf facilities, even though they may be guests of different members.  Sponsored guests not playing with member may only play two (2) times in any calendar year.  Non-sponsored guests may only play two (2) times in any calendar year and must have Golf Professional verification.

Guests of Social Members pay the green fee of the day for the course.  Social members may have 1-3 guests, and when playing with more than one guest Social members must start after 10 a.m.  Guests of Social members paying the green fee of the day have driving range privileges; guests of Social members not playing a round may use the range for $15.00 per day.

All guest play must be cleared with the Golf Professional so conflicts with member play will be avoided.  Guests’ fees are set by the Victoria Club Board of Directors.  Check with the Golf Shop for current fees.  Members are responsible for their guests’ care and conduct while at the Victoria Club.

Age requirements: Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.


Swimming Amenities Information

Pool is open year-round and heated May through September.

A lifeguard is on duty Memorial Day Weekend until August 1st.

Food and Beverage service is available at the pool during the summer schedule.

Children 14 years or older may be left unattended at the pool while there is a lifeguard on duty.

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an individual 18 years or older at all times.

Sunkist Swim League: Victoria Club is a member of the Sunkist Swim League along with six other private clubs. The league promotes diving and swimming competition among various age groups.

Prospective members to the Club are encouraged to submit their application by March of next year to be eligible for the new swim season. Swim Team registration closes May of next year for the new swim season; unfortunately, no exceptions will be made after the first week of May. Please note that a current member who leaves the Club (resigns membership), between now and next season and then wants to rejoin will not be able to participate in the next swim season.

Both diving and swimming lessons, by appointment, are available during the summer for children or grandchildren of members. Contact the office for more information or go to www.victoriavikings@gmail.com.

Dining Room Reservations: Please make reservations when you are planning to come to the club for dinner. Reservations make it much easier on the kitchen and dining room when preparing food and scheduling staff. Special Events Planning: Birthdays, Anniversaries, Reunions and Wedding Receptions; you can even reserve a private room. Contact events at ext. 240

Sponsored Events: You can be a host sponsor to a friend or colleague who would like to have an event at your Club: A person you know can have an event, party or a wedding and/or reception at the Club.  The event coordinator will work with your guest to plan the event; you, the member, simply need to attend their event.  Also, the funds are collected in advance, so the financial responsibility does not fall on the sponsoring member.

Ladies Bridge: 2nd Thursday. Couple’s Bridge: 3rd Wednesday.

Beginning Ladies’ Golf: For beginning golfers, or a nice place to start. Meets every Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. on the range for Swing Line.

Ladies Golf Association: For more experienced golfers. Meets every Tuesday in the morning; the 1st Tuesday of every month is their Monthly Meeting.

Victoria Clubhouse and Operations

House Rules:
Members are responsible for their guests being familiar with the House Rules. Especially important to review is the “dress code” portion of the House Rules. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us. House Rules and the Dress Code are available online at www.victoriaclub.com under Member Central.

Monthly Statement:

Dues are billed in advance.

Food & Beverage Minimums: Must be used every month and can be deferred two (2) times per year with a 30-day notice to the Club’s business office.

Service Charge on all food and beverage is 20%. This charge is added automatically. You may add an additional gratuity, but you must sign your chit for the server to receive it.

Sales Tax is charged on all services and purchases. This charge is added automatically.
